Samoan Government Address: Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa

This keynote address from Samoa's Prime Minister Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa explored some of the challenges small island developing states face, and outlined how technology can help address them. The speech also addressed the growing strategic competition between the world's leading powers in high-tech sectors, as well as the risk that this competition could undermine multilateral efforts to respond cooperatively to technology's rapid advance.

Speakers in this session included: Hon Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa MP, Prime Minister of Samoa and Justin Bassi, Executive Director of ASPI.
