Disinformation, Coercion and Control

This session begins with introductory remarks from Věra Jourová, Vice President of Values and Transparency at the European Commission, on foreign interference and disinformation from a European perspective. The remarks were followed by a panel discussion exploring how governments, businesses and social groups can work together to ensure information technologies support democracy, and how we can we establish facts in the online world.
