Critical and Emerging Technologies: What are the Game Changers and Why?

This session focused on the technologies that are emerging as strategic game changers, with the ability to disrupt societies, security and economies around the world. The panelists explored why these technologies are so foundational, and whether government or commercial actors are producing them.

Speakers included: Ylli Bajraktari, Chief Executive Officer of the Special Competitive Studies Project, Lee Chang-Yune, Deputy Minister, Office of R&D Policy, Ministry of Science and ICT, Republic of Korea, Dr Kate Kitagawa, Director of the Space Education Office, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Jacqueline Sarah Tame, Director of Government Affairs, PsiQuantum and David Waterhouse, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Hypersonix Launch Systems.
