BTS2021: Plenary Talks

The Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) is organised by the Karnataka Government as their flagship science, innovation and ICT summit. It is Asia’s largest technology event and brings together industry, technology experts and policy makers from across the world.

For 2021, the summit’s theme ‘Driving the Next’ recognises how Bengaluru kept the world moving during the COVID-19 pandemic – emerging as a hub for multi-national companies and fuelling the world’s rapid digital transformation. The summit emphasises how technology has emerged as a crucial tool in fighting the virus, in resurrecting crippling industries and bringing together people in these challenging times.

The Sydney Dialogue is delighted to partner with BTS for a series of Plenary Talks by global commentators and technology experts including Martin Schroeter, CEO of Kyndryl; Anant Maheshwari, President of Microsoft India; Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Chairman of World Economic Forum; and Chetan Bhagat, Indian Author and Columnist. The convergence of dates, themes and sessions between the BTS and the Sydney Dialogue speaks to deepening bilateral ties between Australia and India, and our shared interests in working with like-minded countries to shape the norms and rules underpinning emerging technologies.
